Monday 9/30

From your completed treatment, write a script of the documentary on your "expertise." You can use the A/V format for this, describing the visuals that tell your story. You may have some dialog, on-screen graphics and text, but do not use extensive voice over or narration. This documentary is told in visuals.

This script is due in next class, Wednesday 10/2.

Begin reading Invisible Ink, pages 1- 51.

Assignment: write a treatment, a description of the visuals describing a DOCUMENTARY about you and the thing that your are most expert at doing. How do you tell this story of "facts" in visuals? You may use limited text on screen, but no voice over or narration.

This is due in class on Monday.

Mon 9/23

We will complete sharing and discussing A/V scripts for recycling PSA.

Please read Chapter 7 in the text, and we will begin writing for documentary.

Wed 9/18

Assignment: Write you final A/V script based on in-class discussion and critique. Due at the beginning of class Monday 9/23. Be as detailed and specific as possible in your visual and audio descriptions.
